I just had the realization that teaching without the use of technology is like eating soup with a fork! Why would you want to miss out on all those tasty juices and fantastic flavors of soup by eating it with a fork?
Not using technology in your teaching is just as limiting! Eat soup with a spoon and expose your students to experiences that would not be possible without technology! Take them on a virtual tour of the Louvre in France, be amazed at the eclipse by Skyping with someone in the central eclipse path (where it REALLY gets dark), be the ostrich that flies with his virtual reality goggles (I love this commercial!).
